maths

well, all the figures on both sides of the equations seemed to add up. And it seemed so simple too. A few tricky portions here and there, of course, but still it was straightforward. or so i thought.

ahhh, it all doesn't add up anymore.

i could just redo the whole question right from the start, which would be simpler and easier. but i don't want to waste all my previous workings. maybe it was just one itsy bitsy little step wrong? so i'll painstakingly work my way backwards, checking and rechecking all my workings every step of the way.

but god, its so tedious.
